@ai-ecoverse/wasm-pkgconf
pkgconf 3.0.10 for slicc's wasm realm,
as pkgconf and pkg-config.
pnpm add -g @ai-ecoverse/wasm-pkgconf
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig pkg-config --cflags --libs zlib
Coming from pkgconf 2.x
--cflags, --libs, --static, --modversion, --exists (with version
constraints), --variable and --define-variable print what they did in
2.5.1 for ordinary .pc files. What changed since pkgconf 3.0:
--variable=NAME a bprints the value for every module, space-separated, not only for the first.PKG_CONFIG_<MODULE>_<VARIABLE>in the environment (PKG_CONFIG_ZLIB_PREFIX) overrides that variable of that module.Conflicts:between the modules of one--cflags/--libs/--existsquery fail it (PKG_CONFIG_IGNORE_CONFLICTSskips the check).${pc_sysrootdir}is empty, not/, when no sysroot is set.--list-alland--list-package-namesinclude the built-inpkg-configandpkgconfpackages;--print-variableslists in file order.- New:
--newlines, and theRequires.shared,Cflags.shared,Libs.shared,Link.ABI,SourceandLicense.filefields. Requireschains are followed 256 levels deep by default, pkgconf 3.0's guard against stack exhaustion. Past that,--cflagsand--libsexit 0 and leave the deeper modules' flags out, with no warning; 2.x followed the whole chain.--maximum-traverse-depth=-1(or a larger depth) orPKG_CONFIG_MAXIMUM_TRAVERSE_DEPTH=-1in the environment follows all of it. Real dependency graphs are far shallower; about 1500 levels deep,-1runs out of stack in 2.x and 3.x alike (exit 70) (homescoop#532).
