CLI for setting up and managing Alfe AI agents.

Installation

pnpm install
pnpm build

Usage

# Authenticate with the Alfe API
alfe login

# Run the setup wizard
alfe setup

# Diagnose environment and connectivity issues
alfe doctor

# Manage the local gateway daemon
alfe gateway start|stop|restart|status|install|uninstall|logs

# Manage integrations
alfe integration list|install|remove|configure|status|search

# Manage locally hosted MCP servers
alfe mcp list|add|remove|test

# Connect personal Claude Code to Alfe tools and memory
alfe claude connect

# Remove Alfe-managed integration artifacts (keeps runtimes and user files)

Configuration

Config is stored at ~/.alfe/config.toml:

api_key = "your-api-key-here"
gateway = "https://api.alfe.ai"  # optional, derived from token prefix

The API endpoint is derived automatically from your token prefix (alfe_dev_, alfe_test_, alfe_live_). The gateway field overrides this.

Prompting commands require an interactive stdin. For headless login use alfe login --token <key> (or --method browser --no-browser); for headless removal pass alfe remove --yes.
