Core contracts and definition primitives for Assembly Line, a vendor-neutral, filesystem-first framework for durable AI agents.

This package has no runtime engine of its own. It provides the shared vocabulary the rest of the framework builds on: agent, channel, connection, and adapter definitions; connection plugin metadata and factories (definePlugin, defineMcpPluginConnection, and related helpers); the AgentHarness contract; manifest and resource types; deploy contracts; sandbox path utilities; and JSON Schema validation. Provider, channel, and adapter packages depend on @assemblyline-agents/core to stay decoupled from the runtime.
