The athenode CLI as its own package name: npx @athenode/cli init runs the CLI of the athenode package at the same version (the local daemon, init, sync, service, backup, restore).
The athenode command under its historical package name. It holds no code of its own: it depends on
the athenode package at exactly the same version and runs
its CLI, so these are the same:
npx @athenode/cli init # in a repository, without installing anything
npm i -g athenode && athenode init
athenode init binds the repository to a project of the local Athenode daemon (athenode service install starts it at login) and generates the files of your AI coding tools; athenode sync
regenerates them. See the athenode package for the daemon and every command.
Install one of the two globally, not both: both provide the athenode command. npx @athenode/cli
is unaffected.
@athenode/cli/plugin re-exports athenode/plugin, the plugin package generator.
The athenode CLI as its own package name: npx @athenode/cli init runs the CLI of the athenode package at the same version (the local daemon, init, sync, service, backup, restore).
