neeto-playwright-reporter

The custom playwright reporter for neeto-playwright-dashboard.

Installation Instructions

Install from npm:

yarn add "@bigbinary/neeto-playwright-reporter@latest"

Usage

You can import the reporter from @bigbinary/neeto-playwright-reporter and use it in the Playwright configuration.

Smart orchestration

Needs Playwright 1.63 or later. When you run with --shard=<index>/<total>, NeetoPlaydash decides which tests run on each shard. If NeetoPlaydash cannot answer, Playwright's own --shard split is used.

Reporter options:

• smartOrchestration: false turns it off.
• groupBySpecs: true keeps every test of a spec file on one shard.

Every option can also come from an env var, for example NEETO_PROJECT_KEY, NEETO_API_KEY, NEETO_CI_BUILD_ID, NEETO_PLAYDASH_SMART_ORCHESTRATION=false and NEETO_PLAYDASH_GROUP_BY_SPECS=true. Reporter options win over env vars.

The old neetoplaydash playwright <args> command still works, but it is deprecated. It runs playwright <args> and passes --projectKey, --apiKey, --ciBuildId and --group-by-specs to the reporter as env vars.
