BrowserBox
Remote browser isolation you run yourself. BrowserBox runs a real Chrome on your own server and streams it to any browser, so web content never executes on the user's device.
This package installs the bbx command-line tool for BrowserBox.
Install
npm i -g @browserbox/browserbox
bbx
On first run, if BrowserBox isn't installed yet, bbx runs the official installer for your platform and then hands over to the real CLI. If BrowserBox is already installed, it hands over straight away.
It works on macOS, Linux and Windows, and needs Node.js 18 or newer.
You can also install without npm:
# macOS / Linux
curl -fsSL https://browserbox.io/install.sh | bash
# Windows
irm browserbox.io/install.ps1 | iex
Get started
bbx setup # choose port, hostname and access token
bbx certify # activate your product key
bbx run # start BrowserBox
Run bbx with no arguments to see every command.
Product key
A product key is required for all BrowserBox usage. You can buy one, or apply for a 7-day trial, at browserbox.io.
License
