@exalto/proof
Proof's API from Node, for your platform's server: users, documents, editor sessions, agents, seals and webhooks. It holds your secret key, so use it on your server only.
npm install @exalto/proof
import Proof from "@exalto/proof";
const proof = new Proof(process.env.PROOF_SECRET_KEY);
const ada = await proof.users.upsert("user_123", { name: "Ada Lovelace" });
const doc = await proof.documents.create({ owner: ada.id, name: "Notes on the Engine" });
const session = await proof.sessions.create({ user: ada.id, document: doc.id });
// Hand session.token to the page, which mounts the editor with @exalto/proof-embed.
It needs Node.js 20 or later and has no dependencies.
