Model-facing Automic Vault tools over the host ctx.av service, plus an av:tools system-prompt section. The surface is deliberately read-only: audit the Mac for exposed credentials, verify hardening, inspect the detector/hardener catalog, and list saved secret names — never release a Secret Value into model context. Ported standalone from the fork-only @deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-av — no upstream harness changes required.

Tool surface

  • av_scan [severity] [detector] [max_findings] — full audit; findings carry severity, explanation, remediation, affected files/lines, and the detectors that produced them. severity filters (high/medium/low), detector narrows to one tool (names from av_catalog scope=detectors).
  • av_doctor [tool] — hardening verification: healthy/issue per hardener with remediation and stub/target paths.
  • av_catalog [scope] [max_entries] — which detectors and hardeners Automic Vault knows (names + docs links + hardened/applicable status), so the agent can target av_scan and av_doctor correctly.
  • av_list — saved secret names only, never values.

When the av CLI is missing or broken, every tool degrades to a structured { available: false, reason } value with an installation hint (brew install --cask automic-vault/isotopes/automic-vault) instead of throwing.

Security rules

  1. No tool output ever contains a Secret Value. av_list returns names only; scan/doctor/catalog return paths, configs, and advice.
  2. Hardening is reported and proposed (av harden <tool> as a terminal command the user runs); never auto-approved or executed by the agent.
  3. Findings and catalog entries are capped (maxFindings default 30, maxCatalogEntries default 60) and summarized.

Install

Agent-plane: mounts as a preset row and resolves the host av service (no realm/isolate needed). Copy the ready-made preset from examples/agent-preset/ into ~/.dsh/.agent-presets/<id>/.

在项目目录运行 npm install @hy-sde-org/dsh-tool-av，或使用 pnpm add / yarn add / bun add。它还需要宿主项目提供 peer 依赖：@hy-sde-org/dsh-av（^0.2.1-rc.5）、@deepseek-ai/cordis（~4.0.5）、@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools（^0.2.1-rc.5）、@deepseek-ai/dsh-system-prompt（^0.2.1-rc.5）。npm 7 及以上与 pnpm 8 及以上默认会自动安装必需的 peer 依赖，Yarn 需要手动安装。

@hy-sde-org/dsh-tool-av 支持 TypeScript 吗？

支持。包内自带 TypeScript 类型声明（package.json 声明了 types 入口），安装后即可获得类型提示，无需再安装 @types 包。

@hy-sde-org/dsh-tool-av 支持 ESM 还是 CommonJS？

以 ES Module 形式发布，推荐使用 import 引入。在 CommonJS 项目中，Node.js 20.19+ / 22.12+ 可以直接 require() 不含顶层 await 的 ES Module，更早的版本需要改用动态 import()。

@hy-sde-org/dsh-tool-av 需要什么版本的 Node.js？

package.json 的 engines 字段要求 Node.js >=22.19.0。版本不符时 npm 默认只给出警告，开启 engine-strict 后会拒绝安装。
